Garoll Tappas is a proud and strong Arrancar. A "few" years ago he was a captain of the soul Society, but he lost his child and his wife cause the Shinigamis let out a dangerous Prisoner and he doesen´t get help from no one.
After that he felt in anger and killed his lieutnant and all Shinigamis of his Squad. Then the gotei 13 wanted to under sentence him to death but Aizen saved him from this destiny.
From this time Garoll will fight with/for Aizen and the Arrancar until his death.
On my Manga picture you can see Garoll is fighting with the Captain of the 2nd Squad Kohaku Leclair and had a good chance on the beginning. But in the end he get killed by Legros, a Arrancar who was jealous and angry because Garoll was Aizend favorite Arrancar and show Emotions in his last moments.
His last words: "I understand now... it wasn´t the fault of Gotei 13. It was mine. Now I´m moving to my family ... and ask them to forgive me!"
